This set consists of 5 skeins (each 100 m/25g) of different colors wool yarn:
Dark Marine Blue, Orange, Lettuce Green, Carrot Orange, Dark Green
Yarn is 100% natural, local sheep wool which we use in Hobbywool knitting kits, knitting patterns in book “Knit like a Latvian”, our woolen garments: hats, mittens. Thickness: 2 ply yarn. Gauge: 22 stitches: 10cm/4 inches.
Needle size recommended 1.5mm – 3 mm or US 00-2
For mittens and socks kits with this yarn we use 1.5 mm knitting needles.
How to take care of your ready woolen garments:
We recommend hand-washing in slightly warm water with a mild detergent, and spreading your garment on a flat surface to dry.
