This is an original ethnographic pattern of Latvian wollen socks.
The wool comes from a family owned farm and is sheared by hands
and then made into wool.
The wool is rolled up by hands. Even the kit box is handmade.
This kit is a perfect gift for knitting enthusiasts or the ones
who only learn how to knit!
With this kit You will learn how to make a pair
of genuine Latvian socks.
In „Knit Like a Latvian” box You will find:
- colour pattern
- woollen yarn in selected colours for a pair of socks
- size
M/L (Europe size 36-42) - step – by – step recipe of a sock
If you wish to knit a larger size, a man size
above 42 – You would need to purchase an extra skein, depending of the MAIN
color of the sock (the feet) – white/gray/dark gray-anthrocite.
Recommended needle size: 1.5mm – 3 mm or US 00-2 – needles not
included in the kit.
How to take care of your ready woollen garments:
We recommend hand-washing in luke-warm water
with a mild detergent, and spreading your garment on a flat surface to dry.
